Library Use 

The library is a great place to work on projects, access your Google Drive for school projects, conduct research, work on homework, find a new book to check out, and much more.

 ANY person displaying behavior that is disruptive to that environment will be asked to leave, and not return for the remainder of the day. Persons that show disrespect, or repeated disruptive behavior will have library privileges removed, and not reinstated until resolved with an administrator and/or parent.

    • All consumable items, including water and gum, are forbidden for students in the library. If any such items are visible, or if a person appears to be chewing or drinking, the items will be taken and thrown away. 
    • You may play games or do group work with other students at the tables. If the activity becomes too loud or disruptive, a warning will be given, after which you will be asked to leave if the group remains disruptive.
    • All students are welcome during nutrition and lunch (if open). During class periods, you must have a valid and current, library pass.

Computer Use Rules

§  YOU MUST DISPLAY YOUR ID WITH COMPUTER ACCESS IN THE HOLDER AT THE BASE OF THE COMPUTER, WITH PICTURE FACING FRONT.

§  computer use is for academic purposes

  • No games - including educational ones, surfing, or other casual use.
  • No Google Earth, Sketcher or related programs
  • Programs are limited to Safari (web), Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Be prepared to explain the project you are working on and the teacher who assigned it.

§  ONE PERSON TO A COMPUTER

  • The person whose ID is displayed must be the person at the computer
  • No visitors standing near or at the computer area
  • The person whose ID is displayed is responsible for anything that occurs on that computer
  • Groups must have prior permission before working together at a computer
  • Students working on a project involving sound must use their own headphones

§  PRINTING

  • Black & white printing is free if approved by Ms. Fed BEFORE printing. All other black & white is 10¢ per page.
  • Color printing is 25¢ per page.
  • You are responsible for anything printed from your computer, including “mistakes
